Young Alumni from Boston hiked up Mount Lafayette in New Hampshire this past
September.
McGill on the Hill
The Faculty of Arts welcomed guest speaker John Ralston Saul, BA'69,
DLitt'97, to a special Ottawa alumni event on Parliament Hill in November.
More than a hundred guests enjoyed a dinner and the address by Saul, who
spoke about citizenship and humanitarianism.

Tri-Universites Forum in K-Town
Graduates from McGill, Queen's University and the Royal Military College of
Canada gathered in Kingston in November for the Second Annual Dinner of the
Tri-Universities Forum with then-McGill principal Bernard Shapiro as guest
speaker.

The Third Annual Calgary Leacock Luncheon was held in November with author
Will Ferguson (How to be a Canadian, Happiness) providing the hilarity as
guest lecturer this year.
The attendees are piped into the hall.
